Kidney disease during childhood increases risk of future kidney disease

A history of clinically evident kidney disease in childhood, was associated with a significantly increased risk of ESRD even if renal function was apparently normal in adolescence, suggests a study published February 1, 2018 in the New England Journal of Medicine.
